Dover Pottery is a family business established in 1983 by Milly and Al McCanless. We are located in the Westmoore Community, just 8 miles southeast of downtown Seagrove. At Dover, we specialize in hand painted decorated ware, zinc silicate crystalline, and wood fired salt. Dover Pottery has been featured in Fara Shimbo's book Crystal Glazes, Studio Potter Magazine, National Geographic Traveler Magazine, UNC-TV's North Carolina Weekend, and a documentary film by Jim Sharkey entitled The Fourteenth Shop. https://www.createspace.com/233951
